Global Teachers’ Connect 2026 brought together educators and school leaders to explore the theme, Teaching in the Digital Age: Global Classrooms, Local Impact. The webinar featured a keynote address, a presentation on The Future of Teaching in an AI-Powered World, global teacher stories from six countries, a panel discussion, interactive breakout rooms, breakout presentations, an innovation showcase, and closing remarks. Participants shared experiences, explored emerging educational technologies, and gained practical ideas for creating inclusive, innovative, and future-ready learning environments.
A total of 70 participants registered for the webinar. 45 participants joined the live session, with 35 participants remaining until the end, reflecting strong engagement, active participation, and significant interest throughout the webinar.
Empowering Schools Through Educational Technology webinar equipped educators and school leaders with practical strategies for integrating technology to enhance teaching, learning, and school improvement. Participants explored effective school leadership in the digital age, learned how to create impactful digital learning materials with limited resources, and discovered how to evaluate and select EdTech tools using evidence-based approaches. The session provided actionable insights to help schools build sustainable, innovative, and future-ready learning environments.

Meet the Founder & Executive Director
Joshua Henry Amoh-Darko, The founder and Executive Director of EdTech Lab Ghana and a Co-Founder of Glafos, where he also serves as the EdTech Lead. He holds a Master of Education in Information Technology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Psychology, and a Diploma in Basic Education, all from the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
He also possesses several professional certifications, including Systems Engineering and Networking (IPMC), Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate, Google Certified Educator – Level 1&2, AI-Certified Educator, and Gemini Certified Educator.
Joshua Henry has extensive experience in the education sector, with a strong focus on teaching ICT, Information Technology, and Computer Science using both the Ghana Education Service (GES) curriculum and the Cambridge Curriculum. He is deeply passionate about inspiring and developing the next generation of teachers, schools, and learners by equipping them with innovative and practical Educational Technology (EdTech) tools.
Beyond his professional career, Joshua Henry serves as a Children’s Service Teacher with the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (Parousia Congregation) for over 12 years, demonstrating his commitment to mentorship, character development, and community service.
In his leisure time, he enjoys watching movies and meditating.

EdTech Lab Ghana is an educational technology consultancy dedicated to transforming learning environments through the strategic use of digital tools. Founded in October 2024, we work with schools in Ghana and across Africa to integrate technology in ways that enhance teaching, learning, and school administration.
Through our training programs, workshops, and digital learning initiatives, we have engaged and supported over 400 educators. Equipping them with practical skills to use innovative technologies effectively in their classrooms.
